1. How quickly can I begin using the service
after I sign up?
Your account will go into the activation queue within minutes
after you sign up. You will be notified via email when your
account is active and ready to use. NickelTalk offers same
day activation.
2. Does NickelTalk
charge monthly fees?
There are NO monthly fees with NickelTalk. As with any long-distance
call, applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees
are assessed. There is an annual fee of $5.95 per account,
which right now is being waived for the first year's service.
You can have an unlimited number of phones on each account.
3. How will I be billed
for NickelTalk calls?
You can pay by EFT, or Credit Card. You will receive a statement
each month for the prior month's usage, breaking out calls
by line and number called, as well as by date and time. NickelTalk
also offers online bill payment. Details appear in your monthly
statement.
4. What should I do
if I have questions about charges on my bill?

5. Is NickelTalk available
outside of America?
No, NickelTalk calls may not be initiated outside of America
at this time. However, NickelTalk has partnered with GoSIM
to allow our customers to make cheap mobile calls from outside

6. Can I use NickelTalk
from my residential landline phone too?
Yes. You can get the same low rates from your landline through
NickelTalk. If you have not signed up yet, look for the landline
fields on the signup form. If you are already a customer,
you can add lines by emailing support@nickeltalk.com.
7. How do I place a
NickelTalk mobile call?
Just dial (786) 363-0002, wait for the prompt, then 011 +
Country Code + City Code + Phone Number. Remember; do not
hit the "send" key a second time!!! If you are dialing
a destination cell number, there is no City Code. If you are
dialing Canada, after the prompt dial 1 + Area Code + Number.
8. Do I need to switch
mobile carriers to use NickelTalk?
No. You keep your existing mobile service and mobile phone.
9. Can I register more
than one mobile phone?
Yes. You can sign up an unlimited number of mobile numbers,
AND an unlimited number of residential numbers per account.
You can add lines anytime simply by emailing support@nickeltalk.com
and providing the numbers to be added. An annual fee of $5.95
applies per account, no matter how many lines are on that
account.
10. What should I
do if I have any questions or experience difficulties placing
a call?
On weekdays from 8:30 am to 6 pm Eastern please contact Customer
Service at 1-800-493-4393 whenever you have questions or experience
difficulties. Otherwise, email support@nickeltalk.com
24/7.
11. Can I
make a payment online or over the phone?
Yes, you can make a payment online, or over the phone by calling
(800)493-4393. Each monthly statement you receive will also
provide instructions as to how to pay by either method.
12. Are there
any surcharges or connection fees associated with using NickelTalk’s
access numbers?
There are no surcharges for using any of our Miami access
numbers which begin with 786 or 305. Please make sure that
you are on a nationwide calling plan with your mobile carrier
so that accessing NickelTalk is not a toll call! There is
a 3c/min surcharge for using any of our toll free access numbers
which begin with 888 or 866. There are no connection fees
on any of our access numbers.
13. Are the
rates for calling international cell phones the same as the
rates for calling international land line phones?
International cell rates may vary significantly from land
rates by country. Please check the rate table on the home
page for specific country land vs. cell rates.
14. Can NickelTalk
provide my company with cheap domestic and international landline
phone service?
